It had been a while since I've encountered some rude and imature people on CSS, but last night it seemed that every server I went on, I had to put up with the worst ones ever. Saying very offensive things to me, just because they knew I was a girl, such as "Go back to the kitchen *insert derogatory word here*, this isn't a place for little girls"... like seriously... hahaha how low can you be to say things like that? good thing that XTR3M3 was there and perma-banned the little *insert inappropriate word here*... I was just laughing it off, but I'm still amazed at the fact that there are still idiots who act like that towards girls in game. Sad story.

I know all too well Sapphi! I remember one occassion early on when I started playing css and I happen to be in zm3 or was it zm1? Same thing happened to me and it was BAD!! I was so upset I almost quit. Never though people could be like that...as a matter of fact I posted a long rant/thread in the "Report an Incident Forum". I've come to understand that not everyone is like that. There are many nice peeps here that will come to your defense. Of course it's always nicer when an admin is around!...and 3XTR3M3 will NOT put up with anything like that so I'm glad he perma banned the fool. People like that are only fools, ignorant and you shouldn't take anything they have to say personally! That's what I learned early on. ...and yes, I was there last night too. He was a total *insert very inappropriate name here* ... but he got what was coming to him and he can't do that to others anymore. Was it just me or were there a few tools there last night?!?!?! Saturday night ftw.
Nope it was a bit of a "freak" night last night. Was talking to Marty last night and he had to take some time off that West Assault server before he blew a gasket with the @sshats :(
I must say Iceworld wasn't much better. I am constantly ashamed of my own gender acting like complete morons just because there is a girl in the server. I couldn't count the number of times either me or Tenkae have had to defend LadyKnight on Dust/ Office. It's always "Omg, a girl.. Pictures?" or some other rude or obscene comment. *sigh*
It doesn't differ much from real life except that its easier and less dangerous to be the bad guy. Vero you know we all here respect you and run to your aid like any other good member of our community and even more. So don't let those fools get to you and always remember there are people who love and respect you out there.
That's a good point Abo. People like to be jerks behind their computer screens. I imagine people say stuff to X all the time online that they would not dream of saying to his face. Same thing with speaking with ladies or minorities or any of that. There are a lot of tools out there, but most of them keep their mouths shut IRL because they know what's good for them. CSS is an outlet and, unfortunately for them, that stuff doesn't play well on SpawnPoint.
